This position will be based at our Avilla, Dekko Plant.
The HR Generalist is a hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to the Plant.
The role is critical in executing people initiatives, providing exceptional internal customer support, coaching, and driving HR and administration department functional excellence.
Key responsibilities include recruiting & onboarding, employee relations, training, compliance and other.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
Establishes and maintains a positive work environment for all employees Supports the administration of health and welfare, retirement, wellness and other benefit plans, demonstrating a thorough knowledge Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws Facilitates and monitors compliance with mandatory and none-mandatory training.
This may include safety training, certifications and other compliance training Leads employee engagement activities.
Seeks out creative methods of increasing employee retention, raising morale and improving organizational culture Handles employee relations counseling, exit interviews, staffing needs and turnover Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and resolve any issues that may arise Improves employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential Performs other duties as required or assigned Knowledge & Skills:
Superior written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage conflict effectively Solid knowledge of employment law and recruiting best practices Caring and encouraging person who enjoys building others up and helping them succeed Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ) Proficient in training and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision Works well under pressure and prioritizes workflow around changing priorities Demonstrated problem solving skills Experience using Workday is helpful Education, Certificates & or
